Exasperated sigh...I'm sorry, my thought was complete but my question was incomplete. I MEANT to say "...is 'Isabella BRYSON who might have been married to James QUEEN' the same as Isabella COUNTRYMAN who married James Holmes BRYSON?" Good night! The Isabella Bryson (b. 3-7-1812), who DID on 10-17-1829 marry James H. Queen (b. 10-10-1808), is believed, by all the Brysons with whom I've communicated, to have been the daughter of John W. Bryson (b. between 1768-1769 in 96 Dist, SC and died in Macon Co, NC on 7-23-1851. Isabella was the daughter of his second marriage...Jane Poston. James Holmes Bryson and Sarah Countryman Bryson are reported to have been Isabella Bryson Queen's grandparents.
