Sorry, Gene, my copy didn't pick up the 1850 census Williamson County TX where William is in Reuben Queen's household BUT Don Chandler sent the 1850 in his-mail and you can find it there. My addenda: As to why William Queen, brother, of Arkansas is in the household: 1) possible his wife died so he came to TX 2) possible he was sick and came for care 3) possible visit only [he doesn't appear to stay] 4) maybe mother Queen [Mary Butler Queen] died about this time [but I believe she lived later than this]. 5) Perhaps he helped Hulda Queen Davis and her two girls with their move from Arkansas to Williamson County TX. I have a statement by Isaac Boren's family that he brought her with his train to Texas [no date given, but about this time]. Her husband had died in Arkansas. She came "home" and later remarried to Mr. Williams and they moved to California. [Teddy Noye's connection to the family]. I'm of the impression that William's family stayed in northwest Arkansas [Carroll County] or over the border in eastern Indian Territory [later Oklahoma]. Thanks to Don Chandler for sending his information. Katy
