Greetings - I am a new List member and a descendent of a daughter of Henson and Nancy Queen - Mary Ann Queen (my g-g-grandmother). She married Jesse Fernando Anderson in Clay Co., NC on 24 July 1873. Their children were: Blyn, Mae, Nola, Forrest (a female), Lula, Loma and a son, George. Lula Anderson was my great-grandmother. I will be happy to share what I have on Mary Ann Queen Anderson's descendents. Like many of you, I have been trying to confirm Nancy Queen's maiden name and find her parents' names. I am a newbie to genealogy research, so any hints or tips will be greatly appreciated. This all started about 3 months ago when I got the idea of giving my daughters and granddaughter a "Heritage Scrapbook" for Christmas.
