    3. Don, I owe you an apology! This is located on the Mecklenburg Co, VA film - must have had the fat fingers that day... -----Original Message----- From: Don Erickson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, November 20, 2005 9:19 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [QUEEN] Julius Queen in 1920 - was Queen and Jarrell Vicki Hutchings said she found Julius in 1920: 1920 Federal Census - Mecklenburg Co, NC - Chase, ED 51, Dwelling No. 108 J.A. Queen, age 47, born NC (parents born NC), widowed; Octavia (dtr), age 19, born NC (parents born NC); Lillie, age 14, born NC (parents born NC); Lucy, age 12, born NC (parents born NC), Jimmie, age 7, born VA (parents born NC); Mary (mother), age 69, born NC (parents born NC), widowed but I haven't been able to find them on the Heritage Quest films; maybe the indexing didn't get done right. 3. Thanks all, J. A. Queen I found him listed under J.A. Imeson on Ancestry.com. All of the births and names fit. I can see why they have him listed that way. Ancestry took allot of people to volunteer to do this transcribing and some couldn't read the film very easily. I use to be a subscriber to A.G.L.L. "American Genealogy Lending Library" The same films you get from them at your library. They were taking volunteers back then, 25 years ago. But believe me you got your money's worth. They sent me 3 book binders that was at least 3" thick and I would get periodic updated material to order and after I ordered 10 rolls of film ,which you got to keep for a month, and stayed up until 2am going throgh them evernight I ruined my eyes. You got everything that they had. And stuff that still isn't on the internet. --- Vicky Hutchings <[email protected]> wrote: > Don, > > I owe you an apology!
