Regarding the new YDNA results: Alfred Queen (1810) and Mary had sons and daughters. One son was James Henry Queen (b. 7-1847). He and Rebecca had sons and daughters to help populate the earth as instructed thousands of years ago. The second son of James was William Monroe Queen (b. b. 1877). Grandpa Monroe and grandma Lula Queen had sons and daughters. The YDNA of one of Monroe's grandsons through son Samuel Oscar Queen is represented by kit 34392. There are mutations on allele 447 and 576. The YDNA of one of Monroe's grandsons through son Roy Erastus Queen is represented by kit 23313. There are mutations on allele 447 and 576. They match the mutations of kit 34392. YDNA conclusion 1: The most recent common ancestor of these two grandsons of Monroe Queen is none other than grandpa. Thus YDNA concludes what grandpa and the two grandkids already knew. Now, back to James Henry Queen (b. 7-1847).... The third son of James was John B. Queen (b. 1879). John's first wife was Kiney Hunnicutt. They, too, helped populate the earth. The YDNA of one of John B. Queen's grandsons through son Wilbur Hasten Queen is represented by kit 28106. There is one mutation from the old William Queen lineage and that mutation is on allele 447. YDNA conclusion 2: The YDNA of Rev. James Henry Queen (b. 7-1847) contained a single mutation on allele 447 and that mutation was passed on to sons William Monroe and John B. We don't know the origin of the mutation on 447. Did Alfred, the pa of James Henry, have it? Did Alfred's grandpa have it? YDNA conclusion 3: The YDNA of William Monroe Queen, son of James Henry, picked up another mutation. That random mutation is the one on allele 576. Grandpa then passed these two mutations down to two of his grandsons. Probably all of his grandsons, but two proven thru YDNA testing. YDNA conclusion 4: The YDNA mutation of allele 576 of grandpa originated with him at his birth in 1877. Anyone else that has the same mutation on allele 576 could not have gotten it from grandpa unless that person was born after grandpa reached puberty. Emphasis: Grandpa Monroe did not get the mutation from anyone. It originated with him at his birth. Gene's conclusion regarding the same mutation for the donor of kit 24329 (one of Reuben Queen's descendants): That donor is not a descendant of grandpa Monroe. Monroe lived his life in the mountains of NC. I understand that the donor of kit 24329 and recent ancestors lived their lives in the Texas area. Yes, the Reuben donor has the same mutation on allele 576. But, the donor does not have the mutation on allele 447. Thus, the mutation on allele 576 for this donor is also a random mutation either with the donor or back up his family tree.
