Jimmy, this may be a possibility. The only record I have of Hence is in 1850 Rabun County GA census. I've tracked his widow and children through subsequent census years, but have never found a clue on Hence's parents or siblings. Where was your Joseph B in 1850? Also, we have another DNA sample coming from the Hence line. That may shed more light on Hence's true path.
