    3. Greetings to Sharon and all, Looks as if we have a redhot pistol from across the pond on our mailing list. Great! I love it! Always ready and willing to learn about folks from various lands. Me, don't anyone worry about patronizing or not patronizing me. I'm just a good ole boy down here in North, by gosh, Carolina, USA. I suppose that I could get a bit riled up if someone were to maliciously call me a Yankee; Robert E. Lee wouldn't appreciate it either; but our purpose is to discuss Queens, etc. no matter what part of the world they were born - not argue politics or religion. I'm not aware of any native americans with the name of Queen back in 1200-1400 AD or the like. Most likely little baby Queens were born as a result of frolicking or intermarriages between European settlers and between native Americans and European settlers. Good old William Queen of about 1716 started this reproduction process for a number of us. He didn't do it all; but apparently he did a good job, because there's lots of us on Queen list that descend from him. Many of us are seeking the identity of the pa of old William and the identity of the country from where he came. No doubt, some of us on Queen list descend from Scottish ancestry, some from Ireland, some from wherever - and all of us from the folks that were on that big boat during the 40 day flood. Anyway, it's great to be a part of a great group of folks on this mailing list. I certainly welcome Sharon to our group. Do we have any other members who live outside the continental USA? Please let us know if you will. The list is open to all. And remember "The South Shall Rise Again!" Oops, I mean remember Carol's call of the roll. When the List Administrator asks for a roll call, we are supposed to comply. Merry Christmas, Gene
