Regrets that I wasn't clear on my test message. Response is not requested from Queen-L listmates. It was for Sharon only. I am trying again to establish contact with some MacQueen/Queen folks in Europe who are/may be interested in family research. Not having much luck. As for tracing our Queens back to Europe and linking with a family over there, the reality seems to be that early MacQueen/Queen arrivals to America are better documented here than folks back in the home country. No need to mention our "old William Queen" to individual researchers in Scotland/Europe. They wouldn't have the foggiest. What I'd really like to see is Scottish MacQueen/Queen folks actively working and sharing on a Scotland mailing list as we do with Queen list. Oh well, still okay for an old man to dream. Gene
