Gene, was the Matilda Cogdill who md. Samuel Queen (b. 1859) the dau. of John C. Cogdill? Did the DNA results not show Alfred as related to Wm. Lewis Queen Sr.? There are just too many common first names in the two lineages for them not to be related, besides the fact that they were in the same locale! However DNA has proven me wrong before!
