    3. If it is possible to block whoever "ITSSales" is from EVER posing on this list again I would support it. We do not need that gutter language nor mentality and questionable stability and attitude. It is simply not productive. Sue has introduced a plethora of new information to the site and should be greatly appreciated. I remember a great line that answers your question. "In the Colonies it was neither fashionable nor desirable to be a Scot" The Royalists who dominated Colonial Society brought with them from England their utter distain for any Scottish, hence the disappearance of many Mc's and Mac's. Regarding your Irish heritage remember, "an Irishman is only a Scot who learned to swim" The best research that discusses the name change was that of Myles Philbeck in 1997 published in the BGSOTC (does anyone recall what that stands for ?) His 13 page treatise on the Queen family is the only solid indication of the name change, but alas, it remains little more than a great theory. I am RC and grew up in the West of Scotland (not that long ago I only left Scotland in 1998) my children are a mixture of SCOTTISH and ENGLISH. I grew up with the hatred of Celtic and Ranger The Orange Walk every July and the Hibs walk. I am so glad that sue belongs to the HIBERNIAN MOVEMENT just like others belong to the ORANGE LODGE it just proves what a bigoted movement they really are!! Sue obviously has no understanding of history or she would not be such a bigot. I did not refer to the Republic of Ireland as being British, but in Ulster both Catholic And Prodestant and any other religions have to have a British Passport. I read your email with great interest. I find it fasinating that you have proof that the name QUEEN or MCQUEEN or MACQUEEN is not british I cannot wait to see your paperwork, which I presume is forthcoming to the list. Where did your CHARLES QUEEN and wife come from? I am presuming another part of Europe and would be very interested to find out where. You do realise that British means Scots, English, Irish or Welsh. I myself am a Scot and personally find it quite patronising to be called British. It is impossible for the Queen family to come from one human being. I understand why you have to look so much, I have to too. And found things I did not really want to know but that is history. No DNA or any other study will find out everything. I am a Queen through my mother and as far as I have gone back it is QUEEN from Ireland. Can you tell me if the native Americans were called queen as I just don't understand where the name has derived from.
