Entered 27 Sept. 1779. p. 24 #1687, p. 558, JOHN QUENE (sic), 100 acres beginning JOHN MATOXES lower line on north side of Catawba River, down for complement. Entered 8 Oct. 1779. "Not paid 4.10" p. 39 #1847, p. 614, WILLIAM MURRY "Reenters the Entry of Land formerly Entered by JOHN QUEEN (?), Joining JOHN MATTOXES Entry on the Lower End and WILLIAM JAMESES on uper (sic) lying on the North Side of the Catawba River in Burke County.
