You live in a fascinating place, from a genealogical view point. I have several questions; What do you know about the apparent relocation of the graves of Stephen Hogue and Rebecca ? Can you trace where they came from ? Do they have grave stones ? These are both significant figures in our history, can you get photos of the grave stones? You mention Sarah, wife of James. Is this my gggGrandmother ? born 1785, died 1860? Does she have a gravestone ? Is there any evidence of the grave of James ? You mention that Golden Valley Cemetery, the final resting place of Old William is now known as Old Hogue Cemetery. To the best of your knowledge is this the probable location of Old Wms grave ? What is the condition of the cemetery ? This is beginning to sound like a great field trip, perhaps a casual meeting of all us curious minds. Inquiring genealogical minds want to know !
