Hi, Roy, I need to tell you that the Queens have their own "blog" [Queen-List at Ancestry.com at Rootsweb] and because of its' success since about 1997 we rely heavily on the Q-L to introduce new informaton, answer questions, discuss, and generally keep up with what's going on in "Queen World". Now that you are number ---#42866--in our Queen DNA Program, come join us. Some of our listers get on the Queen Message Board, too, and our List "owner" Carol Queen occasionally moves Mess-Board messages from the Queen Message Board over to the Queen-List if the message/request is pertinent to what has been running through Queen-List. So we need you to be part of Queen-List 1) to get your messages directly to all our active members. You simply go to: [email protected] and type the single word: subscribe. 2) You can unsubscribe whenever you wish, and there are archives of all our past messages. Occasionally someone gets miffed and Carole Queen, the list "owner" has to step in and calm the disturbed ones down, but mainly we get along--even disagreeing on genealogy [known as "discussion"!]. There are a lot of real researchers in Queen-List who are a big help to those of us with questions. When frustration rose to the surface last summer on Queen-List I suggested using DNA testing to sort our families since there appeared to be some 5 or so different ancestor groups. [It did not mean we wouldn't work together.] It meant working more closely and trying to sort each name into the proper family. AND we are succeeding to do that. Glad you have joined us! [I've been out of town a month and am busy cleaning up my e-mails.] Katy
