    3. Hi Reiley and Gang, James Q was my gggggrandfather. Most of what I know comes from the "Heritage of Swain County" written by Mazie. She lists James as a son of William Lewis Q, marrying Sarah Jones, no date or place. I list him as born abt. 1777 in Wilkes Co. Ga. based on the research of Dwight Radford of Genealogical Research Services in Salt Lake. ( It appears that his research is based mostly on Mazies writings) I have James will (no mention of parents) James married Sarah in 1802 in Rutherford Co. NC and died on Marc 22, 1845 in Rutherford. I have a census record of James in 1820 in Rutherford which shows his wife as Sarah Hall ?, I also have a note listing Sarahs last name as Ferguson.
