One other observation on this line. Mason Rackley (also spelled Ratley in some records) married Sallie Queen on 01/02/1842 in Union County, GA. By 1850, the census indicates that Mason's wife is named Celia, however, there is a Matlock Queen who was 10 living in the household. I am making the great leap of faith at this point to say that Mason married Sally, a widow of a Queen, and that she apparently died prior to 1850. How's that for speculation!! The only dates I have is the fact that they had a son Stephen who was born 1856. This line is supposed to have been Native American, but don't know if that was the RACKLEY or QUEEN blood. I do know that at one point there was a single RACKLEY family in Cherokee County, NC and there are several QUEEN lines there.
