I received an e-mail from a cousin asking if I knew a John Queen who served in the Civil War. This is what she wrote to me. In an 1863 letter,sent from Camp Zollicopper,Sylvanan Co.-my g-g-g-grandfather, George Washington Wright, tells his wife Martha that he is sending her money by John Queen. Any relation? George was in the 62nd Regiment. Does anyone know who this John Queen maybe.
