    3. Hi again, I may have posted this before, but since his name was mentioned, I'll post it again. I have read through alot of the wills in these books and most of the go something like "being of sound mind" or "weak in body", however the will of John Jones and James Queen appear to be very, very similar. Thought this might help in the Hampton search. Carol WILLS OF RUTHERFORD CO. Page 151 22 March 1844 Recorded, June Court 1845 I, James QUEEN being in the use of my perfect senses. I give unto my beloved wife Sarah QUEEN the home plantation down to the cross fence, her choice of my horse, one cow & calf, one half of hogs, all household & kitchen furniture, negro woman named Mill. Jamason QUEEN to have the lower part of my plantation below the cross fence. At my wife's death all the remaining property to go to my son HAMPTON , he to pay my debts. I appoint JAMASON QUEEN & JAMES HAUL my executor.
