    1. [QUEEN] Mary Queen & Wm B. Morgan
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. A bit more info regarding the subject to see if can stir some interest: 1830 Macon census, pg 17 was a John Queen, age 20<30, living next door to a William West. Over on pg 18 was a William Morgan, age 50<60 with two males in HH, ages 20<30 and two other males 15<20. 02-03-1833 Mary Queen m. Wm. B. Morgan in Macon Co (No witnesses) 1835 Scotts Creek, Haywood County Poll list reflects a Wm B. Morgan 1840 Macon Co, NC census lists a William B. Morgan, age 30<40 on pg 157. A William West and Nancy Carson are listed nearby. 1850 Macon and Haywood...no index listing for William or William B. Morgan 06-25-1863 "William B. Morgan" purchases two hundred acres of land from N.S. Jarrett. Land lies in Macon County on the "Nantiyalee" River. 04-17-1872 Wm. B. Morgan purchases two hundred acres of land from Sheriff Jas Causler for taxes due. Witnessed by J. D. Fraiser and B. W. Bell. Land lies in Macon County on the "Nantihala" River beginning ...near said Morgans house at an apple tree (formerly a white oak). Note: This 160 x 200 pole rectangular tract borders Morgan's other 160 x 200 pole tract on the south side. Interesting. Looks as if Morgan rooted up the white oak and planted an apple tree on the corner. Questions: Who were this Mary Queen and Wm B. Morgan? Where were they between 1840 census and the 1863 land purchase...if it's the same people? Was this the same Wm. B. Morgan who voted in 1835 Scotts Creek, Haywood Co.?
