    3. OOOps... I relied on ancestry's summary page for 1900 where Jasper is shown as age 4 Looking at the census image gives a very different age and birth year. Fantastic, Vicky. 1. [QUEEN] Rita's Memory
    2. O. Eugene Queen
    3. Okay, now we need Rita to meditate deeply and recall all she learned in the 1980's from Elda and Beulah and the relationship, visits, travel, rumor, etc. relating to her Hinsey Jonas Queen. How do we properly link the Stephen Queen lineage to the Hence Queen lineage? Appears that Stephen probably daughtered out, thus DNA unlikely; but back up the line we have Stephen living a few census "houses" from old William Queen over there in Macon County. We may well have DNA from William's lineage. We have DNA thru Hence lineage. Do we have a 3 way connect here, some with DNA and some with memories? Gene

    3. May I make a suggestion (in the way of correction) to one of these names. I know ancestry has Lerley and Vicky sees Lesley. However, she is listed as Lila and Lilla. I believe her name is Lilley, just a sloppy L in the 1860 Polk co., TN census???? I have her listed in my database as Scilla/Lilla but it could be Lilley. Of course, it could be something else entirely...LOL. CarolQ ----- Original Message ----- From: "O. 3. Okay - how about this 1880 Washington & 1900 George W. have same birth year; 1880 Mary and 1900 Mary close enough for the tax man on age; Jasper in 1880 and Jasper H. in 1900 again close enough for the tax man on age. Also several houses down is William Lewis Queen's (son of Stephen) widow and her sons: William Harvey & Jasper N. I'll buy a remarriage for Stephen in 1880 to a wife Martha. But, I'm having terrible difficulty with the 1900 Cherokee for George W. Queen = Washington Queen??? Mother, Martha E. 3. Carol, I believe you were right when you stated that Jasper probably died young. However, as I was checking back through the census records, I did find George Washington Queen (son of Stephen) in 1880 - You may already have this but will post in case! 1880 Federal Census - Union Co, GA - Dooley, ED 77, Dwelling No. 18 - Washington Queen, age 30, born TN (father born NC, mother born TN); Mary E., age 29, born TN (parents born TN); John, age 12, born NC; William, age 9, born GA; Jasper, age 4, born GA; Mary E., age 2, born GA; Sallie, age 1/12 born GA, in month of May -----Original Message----- From: queen-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:queen-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Faded Genes Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2007 1:03 AM To: O. 3. Okay - this is ONLY a gut feeling or maybe an hallucination caused by low blood sugar from taking too much insuling but..... My feeling is that he is son of Henson QUEEN and Sarah HAMPTON and that the John in Macon was also son of Henson and Sarah and that John is a good candidate for father of my Stephen. Like I said, gut feeling or hallucination. LOL ----- Original Message ----- From: "O. 3. It is possible that this is William, son of Lewis. In 1880 his mother was using her maiden name of CHRISTOPHER, which I would probably have been doing if my hubby had a second wife show up, especially one who claims to have married him 4 years before he married me!!!! I do know William married, but don't know how old he was at the time. I believe his brother Jasper must have died at an early age as he was born about 1868 and is NOT on the 1880 census with his mum. ----- Original Message ----- From: "O. There is also a William Queen, b. 1870 on the 1900 Union, GA census. this age would fit for William, the son of Lewis Queen and grandson of Stephen Queen of ca 1820. Any clues/connections with this William of 1900 Union, GA? Thanks, Done milking the cat yet, Rolla? Better put some antibiotic ointment on those cat scratches.
