    3. Hi all, Searching for more info on Patton D. Queen and wife Ada who lived in Passover, (Rabun Co.?), Ga. during at least 1898-1907. This Patton Queen ran a general store in Passover (now Mountain City) during 1898-1907. My guess is that Patton would be on the 1880 and 1900 census. From the age of children, it appears that Ollie & Ernest Glore would also be on 1900. Patton D. Queen m. Ada Cecil Queen? Lizzie Queen? Ollie Queen m. Ernest Glore Lamon Glore (or Queen?) Hattie Glore (or Queen?) Annie Glore (or Queen?) Gervace Glore (or Queen?) Possibility that this Patton D. Queen was son of Samuel Patton Queen (b. 1833 Macon NC, m. 1863 Rabun, GA, died 1905 Rabun) m. Serena Hunnicutt. (Credit Elaine with this data concerning Samuel P. Queen) Anyone have easy access to the census data for this time period and be willing to do a lookup? Thanks, Gene

    3. April, I would also like to have any information on Charles Queen Sr. and wife. All that I have is he came from Ireland with his wife and they had a son and they returned to England where Charles Sr. died and Charles Jr. was learned the trade of weaver. If you find out more would you like to share it with me. I am also interested in any other information on the Queen family. I am a descendant of John Queen who went to Ohio in 1820-30 with his brother Charles III. Best Regards Carl E. Queen

    1. [QUEEN] Head of Household or Heads of Household
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Hi all, I've been working on a project for some time to key into a spreadsheet the Queen, Quin, Quinn, etc. head of households for US Census from 1790 - 1840. This allows me to sort by last name, first name, county, state, year, census page number, etc. (What started it was my desire to know the location of all Samuel's and Joseph's in the US during this time period and to search for possible movements and possible clues.) Anyway, the task is nearly complete and will cover most of the folks. If anyone thinks that they may benefit from such info, please contact me privately advising of the name and search criteria and I will get back with you with the info soon after the task is complete. (No ages are given, however the census year will be somewhat of a clue.) The data is nothing more nor less than as stated. It is pure raw data. Gene
