    1. [Q-R] Question about Ancestry.ca
    2. If I subscribe to Ancestry.ca as an American, can I access US records? I subscribed that way a few years ago because the exchange rate made it a good deal. But in looking at the web site yesterday it looks like maybe things have changed and it only has Canadian records now. Does anyone know? Thanks! Joan

    3. I have an ancestry.ca and access u.s. records and any others I am willing to pay for. If anything like other dot com or dot ca sites once you get to payment there is no longer a choice > On Jun 7, 2018, at 4:45 PM, acadianJoan--- via Quebec-Research <[email protected]> wrote: > > If I subscribe to Ancestry.ca as an American, can I access US records? > I subscribed that way a few years ago because the exchange rate made it a good deal. 3. It depends at what level you subscribe . I am with "ancestry.ca' and have access to all records because I pay for the World Deluxe. So, go by the level you want. You can't become a US member at Ancestry. And there appears to be an iron curtain around the US and we can't stream US TV stations without using a VPN. 3. If you live near a LDS Familysearch building you get ancestry free. So check your local phone book for a Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday saints and see if they are a familysearch facility.Selma On Thursday, June 7, 2018, 4:56:41 PM PDT, Frances LaChance <[email protected]> wrote: It depends at what level you subscribe .  I am with "ancestry.ca' and have access to all records because I pay for the World Deluxe.  So, go by the level you want.  You can't become a US member at Ancestry.  And there appears to be an iron curtain  around the US and we can't stream US TV stations without using a VPN.
