    1. [Q-R] Info on the Peter McDonald and Mary McCleod family
    2. Barbara De Mase
    3. I am pretty sure they were married in Lanarkshire, Glascow, Scotland. However, they had 5 sons, Peter, John, Joshuas, Charles and James. Peter petitioned for land for his 4 sons, Joshua, John, Charles and James in 1821 in the parish of St Gabriels. Peter is in the 1825 Canadian census in St Gilles. He died Jan 4, 1830 and was buried -Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church, Quebec. I would appreciate any information about any of the sons. James is my great great grandfather and I know he married Marie Marcelline Lettre on Sept 16, 1829 at St Andrew's church of Scotland, Quebec. I also have been told that Peter's father was Frank McDonald ( a member of the 78th Scottish regiment) who was brought over by the British to fight the French on the Plains of Abraham and was killed there. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give me. Barbara De Mase Charlotte, NC 28227 bissonnette-bisnettbarbara.blogspot.com lavigne-poutre-barbara.blogspot.com
