WATERVLIET -- Four pillars in the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church Cemetery in Watervliet were knocked down by vandals. The pastor of the church says several gates were also damaged. Some parishioners speculate that the vandalism was prompted by the recent violence in Ukraine, but the pastor says he would rather think it's mischief from young people.
