    1. [Q-R] Military markers stolen from second Dodge County
    2. DODGE COUNTY, Wis. —Dodge County officials said two cemetery thefts have taken place within the last week. Last week, Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam reported a similar theft of markers from grave sites. Authorities said each marker costs about $35 to replace, but is only worth a few dollars on the scrap market. Dodge County Sheriff Patricia Ninmann said 78 markers in all have been stolen in the past week. "Local scrap yards and recycling businesses have been contacted," she said. "Also, a state crime alert has been disseminated to all law enforcement agencies." Ninmann said deputies have several people of interest that have been identified, but anyone with information is asked to call Detective Riessmann at 920-386-3726. Fletcher said they've requested an increase in police patrols at Stone Hill Cemetery and may install surveillance cameras in the near future.
