Good Morning, Debbie, THANKS! This email certainly is interesting. I do have a Anne DESROSIERS b. 12 NOV 1661-Trois-Rivieres and m to JacquesTURCOT b 4 Sep 1652. Parents of Anne are Anne LANEUF DU HERISSON b. abt 1631 m to Antoine DESROSIERS b. 14 Apr 1617 I don't have anything further back except that Anne's father is Michel LANEUF b abt 1600, but I will be reading more about this part of the family--alas, so many members; so little time. Are you a member of the Charlemagne organization? I perused the website--$750 for membership/invitation only/errors on application documentation $150----huummm I don't have copies of the documentation as I haven't researched back that far, so the information comes from Genealogy of Canada--http://nosorigines.qc.ca --but if I wanted to go that route, I could just concentrate on that line. The question from my husband and daughter would be, "Why?" The statement from my genealogical-buddy son, would be, "Let's go for it." Of course, since he is still working, I would be doing all of the work--LOL My direct genealogy from DESROSIERS/TURCOT 8g-grandparents Marie Madeleine TURCOT/Francois RIVARD dit LAVIGNE 7g-grandparents Louise Catherine RIVARD dit LAVIGNE/Charles Francois PEPIN 6g- grandparents Jean-Baptiste PEPIN/ Charlotte CHAMPAGNE AUBIN 5g-grandparents Jean-Baptiste PEPIN/Marie-Anne GAUVREAU 4g-grandparents Jean-Baptiste PEPIN/Claire PETIT 3g-grandparents Martine (Matilda)PEPIN/Thomas-Elzear ELIE dit BRETON gg-grandparents Alfred (Frank) ELIE/Alvina MAILLOT g-grandparents Alfred Eugene ELIE/Golda Elizabeth MARK(S) grandparents Eugene James ELIE/Mildred Luella PEARSON parents Luella Jean ELIE STILLEY me I just love genealogy!! This is a DOCUMENTED royal lineage to Charlemagne ( http://www.francogene.com/gfna/gfna/998/qrd30.htm ). Anne LeNeuf's grandmother was Jeanne Le Marchand. Her lineage to Charlemagne has been documented, and she is an accepted gateway ancestor for the lineage society Order of the Crown of Charlemagne ( http://www.charlemagne.org/ ). The article documenting the lineage from Jeanne Le Marchand to Charlemagne was originally published in French in the "Mémoires de la Société généalogique canadienne-française." It was later translated and published in English in a 3-part series in "Michigan's Habitant Heritage" : Part I, 23:4 (October 2002): 149-159; Part II, 24:1 (January 2003): 1-9; and Part III, 24:2 (April 2003): 49-55.
