Would anyone have any information for Francoise who is in Michigan on this woman I am still looking for my grandmother, Clara Larue who I now know that she was baptized at Corpus Chriti, St.Johnsbury, Vermont, but I cannot find out where she was born. Her parents: François Larue and Louise Poulin were from Canada and I cannot find theirs roots either. Clara died in Lowell Mass in 1902. Théophile Forcier (her second husband) (his second wife) came from Saint-François-du- Lac, Qc. They were married in Essexville, Bay County, Michigan May 11, 1891. thanks |Harriet
Hi Harriet, Here is some info provided a while ago from someone else descended from that couple. Linnie One more try to find the date and place of the marriage of my grand-parents Clara Larue b. 8/19/1867 Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, St.Johnsbury, VT. (now St.John the Evangelist Church). She died 9/27/1901 Lowell, MA. and Théophile Forcier b. 5/4/1858 Saint-François-du-Lac, Qc. died 7/26/1937 Rochester, N.H. I have gone a long way in the past 20 years to get this far with help of message boards, and need one more thing. Her parents were François Larue and Ludovia (Louise) Poulin. I am told they were from Canada, but cannot find traces of them either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Francoise Forcier Kardash -----Original Message----- From: Harriet E.
