What exactly are you trying to find? I am sure you've seen the same messages boards I've encountered that say "Theofile" Forcier and "Chlorisse" Parent wed 11 May 1891. Familysearch even has a copy of the marriage. Most indications I've seen suggest Clara was born in Maine. I suppose an equal amount say Vermont. One message board listed a series of Censuses for Penobscot County, Maine from 1860 and 1870 and even suggested it was likely Francois Larue and Louise Poulin wed there. It is even possible that is where Clara Larue was born. Given that information, I would write a letter to the county clerk or find a genealogy group. It is probably a good idea to find out the cost and process before offering payment. A quick search on Google yields the Penobscot County Genealogical Society. They have a "research help" section. Step one would probably be Clara Larue since you said she was baptized in St Johnsbury, Vermont in 1867. See if they can find a Clara or Clarissa Larue born in 1867. The Louisa in the 1860 Census was 24 and her child, Mary, was 4 so it is probably safe to assume if they married in that county, it was in the mid to late 1850s. That would be a good step two. In my experience requesting documents they allow for a search of plus or minus a couple years I would go with an approximate marriage date of 1855 since their daughter Mary was born about 1856? After that, I am unsure. It is at least somewhere to look. A lot would hinge on whether they find the marriage record and what information is contained within it. I hope it is some help.
