Two gravestones have been damaged in the Troqueer Cemetery in Dumfries. Police say the headstones were pushed over and flowers had been scattered around the graves at some point between Saturday, 16, and Sunday, 17 August. The foundations of the stones were left damages but the stones themselves were not. "It is appalling that people can carry out an act such as this in a place like a graveyard.
