The above records do not start until 1855. I am looking for a baptism cir 1792 According to an 1882 in Ontario death record for Joseph Deschamps age 90, he was born there. Anyone have a clue as to where a baptism would have taken place if he was born there = aside from St. Eustache? I've checked at ancestry/Genealogiequebec and other places but can't seem to find Joseph-anywhere except on his marriage record in 1824 to Anastasie Reaume. If the parents are correct: Augusin Antoine Deschamps and Francoise Amable Lalonde, his mother would have been 55 at this birth. The parents appear to have married 7 Feb 1763 at Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue - perhaps that is where Joseph was born.
