I am looking for the marriage of Michel Larabie to Julie Lafontaine which I believe occurred about 1844 possibly in Pointe-Gatineau. Their first son, Damase Larabie was born 15 Sep 1846 and baptized 23 Mar 1847 at St-Francois-de-Sales. I believe that Michel was born 23 Nov 1821 in Pierrefonds, son of Charles Daraby Larabie and Josette Brisset. Without the marriage, I can not confirm if the birth of Michel is correct. He died 15 Oct 1895 in Gatineau at the age of 82 or 90 years. He was 61 in 1871, 62 in 1881 and 76 in 1891. So dob could be anywheres from 1800 to 1820!!! Many of his children's godparents are the children of Charles Daraby so a connection there. Julie Lafontaine was born about 1830. She also used the last names of Lafantaisie, Simpson, Johnston, Johnson, Lafortune and Parent as shown on the baptisms of her children. She died 23 Feb 1880 in Gatineau.
