Jean Regis & Josephte had a son with same name as father but who died at 3 years of age in 1836 at St-Hyacinthe. Marriage of Louis Chaput & Therese Bonnet was 30 January 1803 at St-Hyacinthe. Found a few references to Jean Regis who give him an approx. yr of 1812 but I didn't see any baptism around that time for him.
