Today 50 or so people bounced off the Quebec-Research list, they can just resub. But the problem is as I pointed out the other day. Several ISP's have changed their mailing list rules (Notably AOL and Yahoo). This causes their list members to not receive some list mail. All list mail IS in the archives. Rootsweb/Ancestry is aware of this, and can rewrite their code to fix the problem. When (or even if) is unknown. I've changed the bounce limit to a silly number but that only delays the bounceoff, and it doesn't get you all the list mail. Verizon has not yet lost their mind and joined the other ISP's, so I still get to see everything.. Bottom line, this is a problem YOUR ISP caused, holler at them. And then wait till Rootsweb rewrites mailman to change the way sender addresses are used in the list emails (Which is the fix)... Regards, Fred dit Uncle

I wonder if this is why I keep finding certain emails in my gmail spam folder from listmembers who are mostly on AOL. Not only from this list, but from at least one other that I belong to. I've been marking them as not spam and adding them to my contacts list as they show up, but they keep ending up in there. If this is an annoyance for me, it must be a horror show for all of the list owners.
