It's important to keep historical perspective when working with published shources. Tanguay, L’Abbé C, Dictionnaire Généalogique des Familles Canadiennes was reprinted by Éditions Élysée in 1975 in seven volumes, but originally published between 1871-1890. I'm sure he did not use "Brothers Keeper" or any other computer program, nor did the publishers in 1975. Always keep in mind that his ground-breaking work has been corrected and revised and supplemented hundreds of times and that you must always check a more modern source, such as PRDH, instead of trusting his books. It's best not to lose time and energy by relying on his valuable but no longer fully acceptable research. Suzanne
