WILMINGTON, Del. — Police are looking catch vandals who toppled more than 70 tombstones at a Delaware cemetery. Board members at the Riverview Cemetery in Wilmington tell The News Journal that 10 large obelisks were also knocked over in addition to the tombstones. Damages is estimated between $15,000 and $20,000. Cemetery officials believe the vandalism occurred on Tuesday or Wednesday. Obelisks weighing half a ton were pushed off their foundations in a section of the cemetery behind a mausoleum.
