Hello everyone, The list is very interesting. What roles did they play in the war? They appear varied but as you said, "most of them never left Quebec." From what I gather, the Americans came to Canada for aid. The government was cracking down on them. Some of the people of Quebec gave them food and shelter. Some of them joined the war? It took me hours to go through the family tree looking for names and I came across three in my tree: Augustin Blais, Laurent Audet and his brother-in-law Louis Columbe.
