Hi Linnie & all I've been following this but I was out of town and didn't have a chance to reply. Someone said his middle name was Arthur in the 1891 Census maybe the priest wrote (Omis)= omitted in English meaning the he didn't know the child middle name and it was (omis) omitted in the record.
