    3. Hi Renee, Three of your messages of 7 and 8 April 2014 overlapped each other, and I'd like to respond to each separately. This is the third, on the topic of Louise Pouliot. I was puzzled at first to see why you researched Pouliot in connection with Pierre Rancourt. When Fran identified the bride's name a ?, my response to her was that the family of this Pierre "is not it." And I mentioned that the Pierre Rancourt she described was married to Louise Pouliot. I should have added that the Pierre Rancourt I'm trying to identify was married in Maine to Sophie Marcoux, nee Pepin dite Lachance. Anyway, let me complete the picture for Pierre Rancourt and Louise Pouliot. I have the record of 11 Sep 1855 as photographed by Bob Chenard from microfilm at a Family History Center. Presumably, this image is from the original register retained at the parish, and the script is 'less hurried' than the writing in the Drouin copy. The record clearly shows "Louise" in both the margin and the body of the act. Thanks again for helping out on my Pierre Rancourt.
