Thanks to the wonders of WorldCat, helpful reference librarians, and the magic of ILL, I was able to get a photocopy of the article “Fame Passed Them By” by C. Goodridge MacDonald, published in the Canadian National Magazine, June 1935. It is about the Battle of Rivière des Prairies (Coulée Grou). Unfortunately the only mention of Antoine is the snippet that Google Books had already provided. However it is an interesting article and the author quotes the book Faits Curieux de l’Histoire de Montreal by E.Z. Massicotte, at one time the archivist of Montreal, as a source. That book is available online in several places including Nos Racines/Our Roots. Should anyone who has Antoine in their ancestry wish a scan of the article, please email me. Jackie
