Someone has done some creative translating. The record in Drouin shows that Marie Louise Sauvage was the daughter of deceased Francois Sauvage & Marie Louise Moette. Her husband was Francois Caissie dit le Dragon. The word "sauvage" means wild, uncivilized and sometimes used in those early days in reference to the native peoples.
