To All: Someone recently sent message to Group about Clinton Co. N.Y. on these Families--Demarais & Demers-- I have BOTH back to the beginnings & would exchange all the Demers line for the marriages of all the children of Jeremie Desmarais & Francoise Demer. I can only find the Marriages of three daughters. but there were 7 daughters at least. Is someone in Clinton County & can tell me how to access the 1850 & 1860 Census of Clinton County for Jeremie Desmarais. No matter what way I spell it he just won't come up. When his one daughter married at St. Edouard in 1846 in Quebec, it said her parents were residents of the U.S. When her sister married at St. Edouard, Iberville in 1844 it said they were residents of St. Edouard. A man here in Cheboygan's wife was of that Family & I have just finished his Boursier-St. Amour-Desmarais Families. Would gladly exchange information. I accidentally erased that E-Mail. Darlene T.
