Don, Thank you very much. I’ve been looking for any of the baptismal records of any of the pre marriage children and have found none of them. So, the possibility of looking over the border for both the first marriage and birth records is likely the direction I’ll have to take now. Changes are, however, that Bellville (Beauville, Beauvie, Beaulieu, etc.) should trace quickly back in to Quebec, but I’m not finding any clues. So, something is very different about this one. I’ll keep the list posted on what I find. I can pretty easily pick out the dates and names, but the children listed later in the register are very odd. I can’t believe they are the children of this couple. I’ve noted the family in a census, but almost dismissed it as the children could not be the offspring of the couple as the ages don’t make sense. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
