Working from the "1933" date you gave, I found the birth of at least one daughter for Joseph Burton & Clarice Pughe(sic) at Baptist Point St. Charles parish in Montreal. The child was born 30 July 1930, given the name Shirley, but sadly died on 9 October 1930. I have not found anything else as yet.
