There are a few entries in Ancestry.ca under "Private Family Trees" that list Jeremie Desmarais & Francoise Demerse who appear to have married 12 Oct 1818 at St. Phillipe, Laprairie, QC and a daughter: Euphemie Phebe Desmarais was born 1841 in Canada and died 1901 in Michigan Another entry offers two additional daughters but with no details: Marcelline & Mathilde Desmarais. When his one daughter married at St. Edouard in 1846 in Quebec, it said her parents were residents of the U.S. When her sister married at St. Edouard, Iberville in 1844 it said they were residents of St. Edouard.
