Louis Bernard aka Menard was the widower of Adeline Belleville. It is more likely that the children listed were born to this wife and not Philomene Gagnon whom he married in 1883 at St. Bernard. But the last child, Jean Baptiste was only 6 months old at the time of this second marriage. It would be useful to find his birth registration. I can pretty easily pick out the dates and names, but the children listed later in the register are very odd. I can’t believe they are the children of this couple. I’ve noted the family in a census, but almost dismissed it as the children could not be the offspring of the couple as the ages don’t make sense. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
