I have run into a big problem. I find that I have listed the wrong Parents for Alice Carey,  my great grandmother married to Peter Bellrose. The real Alice Carey was the daughter of a Leo Cary or Carey  married to Addie Rabare. I cant find any records on any of them using every combination of names i can think of. except  in the 1880 census of Peter and Alice in Hoosick NY and her Death certificate. Alice was born in NY in 1859 and died on 27 Aug 1928. Her death certificate states that her parents were born in Canada. Alice may have been born as Elizabeth Alice Carey. The incorrect   parents named Leonard Carey and mother names Mary Jane Rhodes. birth and death dates for both Alice are ( the death year is the same) very close but this is not the correct family. HELP.

I know what you mean. On my husbands great grandmother's death certificate (which I paid for) the info was totally wrong. They were French speaking family in the US and when they asked for the names of her parents the daughter gave them the names of HER parents.
