Following the "begats" backwards: my grandfather, Wilfred begat Elzear begat Antoine begat Louis begat Jean-Pierre begat Mathieu begat Jacques. I'm just back from Beauport but didn't find Francois' information. I do have, through the kindness of Pierre Drouin, former President of the Societe d'Art, the Histoire de racounter les premieres families de la paroisse de Beauport......and read the piece Marguerite Carreau wrote.
