    1. [Q-R] Could be Bellenaire/Bellenaise no Dellenaire
    2. Earlier I asked about a name Dellenaire. Does this resemble a known name (given or family) for a male in French Canada? I've taken a close up view of the record and the D might be a B. Is Bellenaire or Bellenaise a known name or similar to another? I've included the record for your indigestion: https://www.ancestry.com/interactive/2495/40143_271130__0209-00157/17982829? backurl=https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/57364495/person/402 58015863/facts/citation/522056628231/edit/record Any help would be grand. 3. PRDH says neither of those names have ever been used in La France records - same for Dellenaire. Since you have a date and place for the marriage you might want to see if you can find a church record for the marriage - might give you more information about parents place of residence) - or at least more clear names. 3. There is another record of the marriage in Massachusetts, Marriage Records, 1840-1915. It gives the name of the person who performed the ceremony as Calvin Newton. A search finds that he was a Baptist minister. Both were born in Canada (all this I knew) Parents of Betsey St John are Dellmaire (Delenaire) St John and Agnes. (All new) Initial search for a Dellenaire and Agnes on GenQuebec came up with zero. Any help in pinpointing this couple? I'd much appreciate it. 3. I sent this earlier : The closest name I can think of is Bellony / Beloni. I’ve also seen that one spelled as Benony. I just found a baptism for an Elizabeth St Jean born and baptized 5 Nov 1830 in St-Jude, Quebec. Her parents were Benoni St-Jean and Josephte Jusaume.
