    3. I am looking for a marriage, place unknown, of Jean Baptiste LeBlanc and Catherine Routet? Possibly about 1847/48 as first child John (Jean?) was born Canada about 1849. Jean was possibly born about 9 August 1820, maybe St Ours?? Other census records could be from 1819 - 1822. 1822 is date on gravestone. They went under name John White and Catherine Root in Vermont. He also used name Nelson Lablanc. Any help finding their marriage and his parents would be a great help. Thanks,Dot

    3. I did a search in PRDH for them (1840-1849) and got nothing. Did another with him and just Catherine and got the following: 31 May 1847 St-Pie-de-Bagot for Jean Baptiste Leblanc and Catherine Wheelhouse. A search with just JB Leblanc brought up several results but the only Catherine was the Wheelhouse ( I thought she might have had another name other than just Catherine). A search for  just Catherine Routet brought up no results at all. A search under Nelson Leblanc brought up no results. A search for just Leblanc and Routet brought up no results. A search for just Routet brought up no results. I guess it is possible they were married after 1849, in which case they will not be in the PRDH.     3. There are several entries for this couple in Ancestry.ca Public Family Trees - some of the info actually matches - others are clearly a copying job w/o verification. Some have this couple married 1817 in Rouville, QC - other entries have them married 1843 in Louisiana! All are consistent with death of JB - Death: 13 May 1904 - Highgate, Franklin, VT. Perhaps searching that death info will offer consistent info along with Census.
