I am looking for parents of Antwine Gilbert who was born or baptized 25 Jun 1786 in St. Cuthbert. He died 28 Jul 1847 in St. Barthelmy? I saw a record saying he married a Julia Toussaint who I have no info on on 15 January 1810 in St Johns. I don't know how accurate any of the above is so trying to verify. Don't know if this is your guy but at St. Cuthbert on the 25th of June 1786 was baptized Antoine born today son of Antoine Comtois and of Rosalie Lupien, the godfather was Atnoine Comtois grandfather of the baby and godmother Marie-Anne Gonneville wife of Joseph Lupien. Accoding to PRDH-IGD it is Comtois is also Gilbert. In St. Cuthbert on 15th of January 1810 Antoine Gilbert dit Comtois farmer and son major of Antoine Gilbert dit Comtois and Marie Rose Lupien partents of this parish of one part married Marie Josephte Dutaut dit Grandpre daughter minor of Joseph Dutaut dit Grandfree and Magdeleine Lavalle the parents also of this parish. Then in Saint Barthelemy: on the 29th of July 1847 they buried in the church cemetery of this parish the body of Antoine Comtois ancient famer husband of Marie Josette Duteault GrandFres of this parish. died in this parish day before yesterd age of 61.
