Good Day Selma, from the Birth/Death records of St-Léonard, Madawaska, N.B. Page 108: Children of Basile Lebel and Élisabeth Laplante: Rosalie Lebel born May 03, 1860 and baptized May 27, 1860 Godparents: François Desrosiers and Anastasie Thibodeau Alfred Lebel born February 06, 1869 and baptized February 13, 1869 Godparents: Herménégilde Ouellette and Julie Lepage Roch Love your book list. I just don't have enough Catholic people up there to get them. In the t Bruno book are there any Robert/Basile LEBEL/ Bell and Elizabeth Laplante with kids. When I went there the records were in a card catolog at the library and the drawer I wanted was gone. someone had taken it home to put in the computer or something. I don't remember. the kids were born between 1859-1882 some at Assumption parish, some at St-Brunos, St-Leonard, they really moved around selma
Got this from my research buddy the Librarian If I get more will share ======================== From: ken theriault <madawaska_library@yahoo.com> The only spot she shows in the register is as the husband of Louis Sanfacon, d. 1822. I will be surveying the cemetery this year, if I run across their gravestone(s) I'll let you know. Ken Theriault Library Director Madawaska Public Library 393 Main St. Madawaska, ME 04756

Selma - PRDH shows a burial for Madeleine Thibodeau at l'Acadie in 1791. However the Drouin record shows that Madeleine Thibodeau was married to Louis Cyr and the 1791 burial was at St-Basile, Madawaska, NB (l'Acadie). Cheers! Sorry if I don't get back to the ones helping me I am missing alot of the answers MY Madeleine Thibodean only married Louis Sanfacon Consegny as she died very young. She died abt 1791 in St Basile New Brunswick. The parish register doesn't start until 1792. Well Jackie, if you drink a certain Cola you might have "more bounce to the ounce" but that same Cola is especially helpful when you are feeling ill and it "falls flat". A bit more on the problem: Rootsweb (and many other email lists) sends the mail from their email servers with the original senders from name. You get the mail that says it is coming from (as an example) me. When in fact it's being sent from Rootsweb. Many ISP's have adopted a standard that does not allow that. They are blocking mail that "pretends" to come from someone else. Not a bad idea at all. The problem is they just did it without any real warning, and caused chaos in the email world, including Rootsweb's thousands of lists. Since QR is a fairly active list, we see the effects first. All lists are affected, and my changing the bounce limit does not in any real way solve the problem. The Rootsweb folks need to change the from address to a Rootsweb server name (Say the list name). Rootsweb uses a modified copy of the free email software called Mailman, that is where the change must be made.. The following is from AOL: "Mailing lists, also known as listservs are affected by this change: We recommend (Rootsweb) configuring reply behavior to fill the From line with the mailing list's address rather than the sender's and put the actual user / sender address into the Reply-To: line. Please also note that current "auto unsubscribe" logic based upon bounces might be too rigid until this change has been in place for a while." (Slightly paraphrased by fvp) Regards, Fred dit Uncle -----Original Message----- From: quebec-research-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:quebec-research-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Fred Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2014 12:32 PM To: QR (QR ) Subject: [Q-R] FW: Admin note: I'm posting this again after we (Hugable Renee) resubbed about 90 folks so they can see it.. (Unc) Today 50 or so people bounced off the Quebec-Research list, they can just resub. But the problem is as I pointed out the other day. Several ISP's have changed their mailing list rules (Notably AOL and Yahoo). This causes their list members to not receive some list mail. All list mail IS in the archives. Rootsweb/Ancestry is aware of this, and can rewrite their code to fix the problem. When (or even if) is unknown. I've changed the bounce limit to a silly number but that only delays the bounceoff, and it doesn't get you all the list mail. Verizon has not yet lost their mind and joined the other ISP's, so I still get to see everything.. Bottom line, this is a problem YOUR ISP caused, holler at them. And then wait till Rootsweb rewrites mailman to change the way sender addresses are used in the list emails (Which is the fix)...
Do I bounce or just fall flat? Jackie
I fixed the spam problem in my Gmail account. I have added a filter specificaly for this group, and it does work - I now get some messages marked "this isn't in spam because of the filter you created". If anyone wants the instructions, let me know and I can email them to you. cheers, Christina Gibbs DuchessMaude@gmail.com On Wed, May 21, 2014 at 12:40 AM, Lisa Lepore <lisa.lepore2@gmail.com>wrote: > Hi Al, > > I don't know if others are having this problem, but first I was marking the > mail > as not spam, but it still ended up there. Hi Al, I don't know if others are having this problem, but first I was marking the mail as not spam, but it still ended up there. I am now adding the addresses to my contact list, but it is still kicking out a few. One was the Jackie thing, but there are still others that are going in there. I'm sure it's connected to this AOL business because the addresses that were in there today were both from AOL. Hopefully gmail will learn what is not spam soon, but in the meantime, I just check the spam box every day. If it doesn't clear up in a few days, I'll read that help page and see what's next :-) Lisa > -----Original Message----- > From: quebec-research-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:quebec-research- > bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Al Poulin > Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2014 9:00 PM > To: QUEBEC-RESEARCH@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [Q-R] Admin note: > > I just checked by gmail SPAM folder and found some list items there. > But most, if not all, were about that Jackie Hostage thing that we were > being warned about. No apologies necessary Jackie. It wasn't necessarily anything you did. It frequently happens when people don't use the "bcc" box instead of the 'to' box.
